The theme of innovation is one that I would like to explore more on this site.
Please send me links to examples of Iranians who have
innovated or who are in some way promoting innovation
and progress in the world.
It could be in any category, health,
science, art, architecture, business, politics, anything
that "plants the banner of
humanity a few furlongs further into
chaos."
Of course, all that comes to mind right now are those that have a lot of press or that I have heard of for
some reason or another. But I'm sure there are so many more. Let me know, send me links.
Anousheh Ansari and family, for her role in and contribution to the Ansari X prize.
"The ANSARI X PRIZE is a $10,000,000 prize to jumpstart the space tourism industry
through competition among the most talented
entrepreneurs and rocket experts in
the world." All you space geeks out there, this is the COOLEST site! NASA and big government
can eat entrepreneurial space-dust! This project is showing a lot of success as we can see from
this CNN article on the first successful private space flight.
The E-Bay founder, an Iranian computer geek's attempt to solve his girlfriends
pez dispensing problem.
Cal-Earth, a revival of ancient Persian architecture applied to present day housing and sacred space
needs. Speaking of space, some of the ideas here have been suggested for feasible lunar colonizing projects.
And of course, so much more to come.
