The four
letters, "be", "pe", "te" and "se" all have the same basic shape - like a
staple, fallen out of the stapler. [Note: Pronounce the "e"
as a crisp, short letter, the e sound in "bed", "pet", "tell", "sell". It's not a long "ee" as in "bee".

this shape has four forms when written. Here are the forms as demonstrated by the letter "be" (the other
letters use the same form, just the dots are different):

the letter. Here is a
