The Persian language is not as hard to learn as you might think.
First you learn the alphabet, of course (featured in the column at right).
Then you learn some words (vocabulary).
And then you can just toss those words together at random like word salad, right?
Well yes. You could do that,
and that would be fun. In fact, that's
one of the crazy ways to use our Magnetic Word Play kits.
The fun only increases when you take a moment to learn GRAMMAR. Don't be afraid. Grammar is
simply the study of sentence structure, the study of the function
and relationship
of words that make up sentences.
This is the beauty of
language. You can create
an infinite amount of
meaning out of a finite vocabulary
by knowing just a few
rules.
Luckily, there
seems to be a universal grammar underlying all human thought,
so you are biologically designed to learn it.
The language section is under construction, but feel free to poke around and
watch it while it grows. We also
welcome your suggestions and feedback.
(Please contact us).
But you don't need us to finish this section if you want to learn Persian. A
much faster way is to buy our fabulous word magnets, set them up somewhere, and then invite your friends and
relatives who speak Persian to play with you! They are walking repositories of language knowledge. Use them! This
way you will bond with language and with them at the
same time! It's win-win.
Back to this site: if you like what you see here and want to support this process and speed
it up, please buy our fabulous magnets!
Or just send us large sums of cash.
