This page asks the question: Do the different Persian poets have a specific vocabulary?

What is the basic vocabulary of poetry? We can look up all the words, but understanding their meaning is complicated by context and by the fact that a lot of the imagery is metaphorical.

Out of curiosity, we want to attempt to quanify the frequency of different word usages by different poets, to see if a signature emerges. Contact us if you already have information on this.

Of course, poetry is more than vocabulary, it's the way the words are put together to form meaning. Are there conventions for this in Classical Persian Poetry?
